Clinic and server [closed]

0 votes

Hello, I have the following questions regarding the call:

  • Is it necessary to host a clinic before applying? - The clinic needs quite some organization and the time window for this is small.

The call mentions the "Organicity server" / technical environment. We can integrate the experimenters portal into our experiment. Regarding this point:

  • Do we have to deploy this platform in our own server or should we use the existing deployment of organicity?
  • Would you provide technical support for the use / deployment of the server / portal?

Thank you.

Hi,

Regarding clinics: No, there is not a requirement to host a clinic. This would typically be done by a city organisation with the purpose of promoting interest for the open call.

I'll leave the second question to one of my colleagues.

Hello juca,

as for the questions regarding the technical environment, see below:

  • Question: Do we have to deploy this platform in our own server or should we use the existing deployment of organicity?
    • Answer: You do NOT have to deploy an instance of Organicity, but to use the platform by using the APIs created to this end. In this link https://organicityeu.github.io/ you will find more detailed description of the technical environment. Note that the documentation can be updated but the general view remains.
  • Question: Would you provide technical support for the use / deployment of the server / portal?
    • Answer: Of course, if your experiment is accepted in the Open Call, you will receive support from the Organicity team. Regarding the Experimenter Portal, as can see in the technical documentation (https://organicityeu.github.io/) it is intended to create/manage your experiment. When the experiment is running it will make use of different APIs to create/consume data.

The technical part of the question will be reproduced in the "Technical Environment" category since it fits better there.
